Dr. John Wesley Lowery, associate professor in Student Affairs in Higher Education, presented at the recent NACA Mid Atlantic Regional Conference, which was held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in October 2010.
Dr. Lowery spoke at the Professional Development Luncheon and presented an educational session entitled “The Courts and Campus Activities: The First Amendment, Tort Liability, and More.”
The National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) advances campus activities in higher education through a business and learning partnership, creating educational and business opportunities for its school and professional members. The Mid Atlantic region includes New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C. (and the surrounding metro area), and the Canadian province of eastern Ontario.
