Jon Lewis, Department of Geoscience, participated in the 2010 American Geophysical Union (AGU) Congressional Visit Day.
Lewis, and two other AGU colleagues from Pennsylvania, met with staff members in the offices of Senators Specter and Casey and later with staff members in the offices of Representatives Fattah and Doyle. They were also able to meet directly with Representative Altmire.
These meetings allowed Lewis to inform our public representatives about his current research and to discuss the state of Earth and Space Science research in the United States.
