Guth Presents on Study Abroad Institute and Counselor Trainees

Lorraine J. Guth, Ph.D., from the Department of Counseling, recently copresented “Beyond U.S. Borders: Impact of a Study Abroad Institute on Counselor Trainees’ Multicultural Competencies.”

This took place at the North Atlantic Regional Association for Counselor Education and Supervision conference in New Brunswick, N.J.

The study was a collaborative study with Dr. Garrett McAuliffe from Old Dominion University and Megan Michalak, recent IUP graduate and doctoral student at Idaho State University. This study was partially funded by a University Senate Research Committee Fellowship awarded to Dr. Guth.
