New Historical Marker on Campus Highlights Intersection for Native American Trails

On Saturday, September 6, 2014 an unveiling ceremony was held to celebrate a new plaque that marks the spot where the Catawba and Kittanning Native American trails intersect on the IUP campus.

IUP to Offer Memorial Program on Anniversary of September 11 Attacks

The program will include a remembrance of the three IUP alumni lost in the World Trade Center attacks and remarks from local community member Joe Reschini, who was in one of the towers during the attack.

IUP Honor Society Recognized For Fifth Consecutive Year as National Chapter of Excellence

The university’s chapter of Phi Kappa Phi is one of only 28 in the nation and one of three in the northeast region receiving this honor for recognizing and promoting academic excellence in all fields of higher education and engaging the community of scholars in service.
