The Systems Approach to Security

The protection of our nation’s critical assets is one of the principal challenges we face as a country. For the past thirty years, Sandia National Laboratories has been tasked with the protection of our nuclear assets. To accomplish this goal, they have developed a methodology for the protection of physical assets. This systems approach integrates technology, people, and procedures to meet the overall security objectives.

During this presentation Dennis Giever will provide an overview of this methodology and also give some insights as to how this same methodology can be used for the design of a secure information system.
