Registration Open for Artist Residency for Youth

The Artists Hand Gallery is partnering with ArtsPath and IUP Lively Arts to host a special artist residency for community children with two nationally known artists between July 7 and August 12, 2016.

ArtsPath Completes Two Spring Semester IUP Residencies

ArtsPath visual artist Mike Stadler worked with students at the IUP Punxsutawney campus using woodworking, and craft artist Sandy Trimble worked with pre-service students in the College of Education and Education Technology using fiber and the process of wool felting.

Community Music School Extends Deadlines

The registration deadlines for the various classes, lessons, and ensembles offered through the IUP Community Music School have been extended for fall 2014.

ArtsPath Representative Gress is Poetry Out Loud State Champion

David “DJ” Gress, a senior at the Kiski School located in Saltsburg, Pa., won the state finals of the 2013 Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest. He reached the state competition through the Indiana regional semifinals managed by ArtsPath.

Rep. Pyle Visits ArtsPath Residency in Armstrong County

Bronze sculptor and state-rostered teaching artist Dave Poulin is working with students as they experience the process of creating a life-size bronze statue. The residency is managed and partially funded by IUP’s ArtsPath program.
