The National League for Nursing (NLN) Foundation for Nursing Education recently announced that IUP Nursing faculty member Dr. Teresa Shellenbarger was selected for the NLN/Johnson & Johnson Faculty Leadership and Mentoring Program.

Chairperson Elizabeth Palmer and the faculty and staff of the Department of Nursing and Allied Health Professions are pleased to announce the accreditation of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degree programs by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

The Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree programs in Nursing have been accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Both programs received the maximum ten-year accreditation.

The IUP Department of Nursing and Allied Health is proud to announce a 95% pass rate on NCLEX for the period April 2008 to September 2008. NCLEX is the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses.
