IUP To Pilot New Tuition Flexibility Program

Indiana University of Pennsylvania will pilot a new per-credit tuition pricing program for the fall 2015 semester. The Tuition Pricing Flexibility Pilot, approved by the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Board of Governors on January 22, structures tuition charges on a per-credit basis to all resident undergraduate students (students who domicile in Pennsylvania).

Important Policy Change for State Grants and Online Classes

Beginning in Fall 2012, there is a new PHEAA-mandated Classroom Instruction Policy which requires IUP to monitor the percentage of coursework a student takes online on a term-by-term basis. A student may receive a state grant award for a term as long as he or she takes at least 50 percent of their credits for that term in the classroom.

Top Students May Qualify for Sutton Scholarships

Beginning in Fall 2013, new students will have the chance to qualify for prestigious Sutton Scholarship (formerly known as Academic Achievement Scholarship), which is renewable for up to four years.
