The Department of Energy Science Graduate Fellowship program supports outstanding graduate students in areas of physics, biology, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, computational sciences, and environmental sciences for students pursuing an eligible graduate degree in 2010–2011.

The National Science Foundation East Asia and Pacific Summer Institutes for U.S. Graduate Students is now accepting applications. The deadline is December 8, 2009.

Applications for the Patricia Hilliard Robertson, Albert R. Pechan, and Wienken and Associates scholarships in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics are due April 30, 2009.

All of the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics science education programs have just received full national recognition from the National Science Teacher Education Association. 

A component of Research Appreciation Week, this program provides an opportunity for students to showcase their research. The keynote address will be given by Rebecaa Bace, an information security expert who works in the Silicon Valley.
