Majors Fair Set for Tuesday, March 4

The IUP Majors Fair will be held in the Crimson Event Center, Folger Hall from 6:30–8:30 p.m. The program is open to all IUP students, as well as to local high school juniors and seniors.

Villalobos to Speak on Inclusive Diversity in the Workplace

On Monday, October 28, as part of the Six O’Clock Series and in celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, IUP will host speaker Veronica Villalobos, director for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion with the federal Office of Personnel Management in Washington, D.C.

National Federation of the Blind to Award 30 Scholarships in 2013

The National Federation of the Blind is accepting applications to its national scholarship program from freshmen beginning college this fall on up through graduate students. Applications must be received by March 31, 2013.

Nominations Sought for Third Annual Ray Coppler Award

The Ray Coppler Award was created to annually honor and give special recognition to a student, faculty, staff, or administrator for exemplary contributions to disability education, awareness and/or inclusiveness at IUP. Nominations are being sought until October 17, 2012.

NASA Internships Available for Blind and Disabled Students

NASA is looking to increase the number of blind and disabled students, pursuing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers through its internship programs. Students can apply until February 1, 2011.
