Nominations Sought for Third Annual Ray Coppler Award

The Ray Coppler Award was created to annually honor and give special recognition to a student, faculty, staff, or administrator for exemplary contributions to disability education, awareness and/or inclusiveness at IUP. Nominations are being sought until October 17, 2012.

NASA Internships Available for Blind and Disabled Students

NASA is looking to increase the number of blind and disabled students, pursuing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers through its internship programs. Students can apply until February 1, 2011.

The Council of Citizens with Low Vision International will award three scholarships of $3,000 each for the 2011–2012 academic year.

American Council of the Blind Academic Year Scholarship

The American Council of the Blind annually awards approximately twenty scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 to vocational, entering freshman, undergraduate, and graduate college students who are legally blind, maintain a 3.3 GPA, and are involved in their school and/or local community.
