IUP ROTC Program One of Only Eight Programs in Nation Selected for MacArthur Award

The U.S. Army Cadet Command has announced that Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program has won a MacArthur Award, given to the top programs in the country, for the 2013–14 school year.

December 2014 ROTC Commissioning Ceremony

On December 12, 2014, the newest Army officer was commissioned for active service. 2LT Lindsey Patrick will serve our country as a Medical Service Corps officer.

Truby Donates Collection of Books, Historical Documents to Military Science Department

The Military Science Department library is richer by more than 300 books and historical documents, thanks to a donation by J. David Truby, professor emeritus of Journalism and U.S. Army veteran.
