Geoscience's Lewis in International Planning Workshop on Ocean Drilling

Professor Jon Lewis, Department of Geoscience, is participating in a multinational planning workshop to define the scientific research goals of a new ocean drilling program that is expected to replace the current Integrated Ocean Drilling Program.

Coles Attends Conference on Variable Star Observing

Professor Ken Coles, Department of Geoscience, participated in an astronomy project to measure a mysterious star, hosted by the American Association of Variable Star Observers at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago during the first week of August 2009.
