Master’s Program in Nursing Alumna Receives Award

Congratulations to Joan Ponzurick, a graduate nursing alumna, for receiving the Journal of School Nursing First Publication Award by a School Nurse. Ponzurick published an article in the February 2012 issue.

IUP Nursing Graduates Exceed State and National Pass Rates for NCLEX-RN Exam

Graduates of the IUP baccalaureate program from 2011–2012 achieved a passing rate of 99.18 percent on the NCLEX-RN exam—nearly ten percent higher than state and national pass rates.
