Tree Dedication Ceremony for Christina Arroyo

A tree dedication for Christina Arroyo will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at 12:05 p.m. in the Oak Grove near the Library steps. All are welcome to come and celebrate the life of our friend and colleague, who passed away in March.

Donations for Tree in Memory of Christina Arroyo

The IUP Office of International Education is coordinating donations to purchase and dedicate a tree in the Oak Grove in celebration of the life of our friend and colleague, Christina Arroyo, who passed away in late March.

Future Students Visit IUP

Sixty-three Chinese high school students visited IUP on February 16 as part of a winter camp that allowed them to attend high school classes, visit Washington, D.C., and tour local universities.

Hong From Korea University–Sejong Visits IUP

Sukkyung Hong from Korea University–Sejong (KU) visited the IUP campus on February 11, 2015, presenting programs to faculty and students from the Eberly College and the Cook Honors College about the many opportunities that exist for both graduate and undergraduate students to study at KU.

Halchak Selected to Review National Critical Language Scholarship Applications

Jessica Halchak, Office of International Education: Education Abroad, will serve as a reviewer for the national Critical Language Scholarship. Students selected will receive a fully funded overseas language and cultural immersion program.
