Govindasanmy Balasekaran, Ph.D., associate professor at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and IUP Exercise Science graduate, has been appointed as secretary-general of the 2010 III  International Conference of Physical Education and Sport Science.

Dr. Madeline Bayles has been appointed to the position of chair of the American College of Sports Medicine’s (ACSM) Committee on Certification and Registry Board.
