Chinese Language Student Wins Preliminary Contest of the Fifth Chinese Speech Contest for University Students in New England

Linus Morales, a student in the CHIN 281 class of the spring 2015 semester, was selected as one of the seven finalists (at the Intermediate Level) from nearly 50 students to compete in the final contest to be held at Boston, April 12, 2015.

Delbrugge Publishes Edited Volume About Theories on Self-Fashioning

Laura Delbrugge has published an edited volume, Self-Fashioning and Assumptions of Identity in Medieval and Early Modern Iberia, extending the applicability of Stephen Greenblatt’s theories on self-fashioning, originally framed in the context of Elizabethan England, to medieval and Early Modern Portugal, Castile, and Aragon.
