Students, faculty, and staff enjoyed a diverse array of cultural activities during International Coffee Hour, sponsored by the Office of International Education. This event celebrates the beginning of International Education Week.

The Office of International Education is pleased to announce that the largest group of international students in IUP history enrolled this Fall semester—290 new international students from thirty-eight countries.

Please join the Office of International Education in welcoming new international students to the IUP campus. The new international students will be arriving for a weeklong orientation which begins Monday, August 24, 2009.

The IUP Office of International Education is pleased to annouce that a group of eight international students have volunteered to present information about their home country/culture and culture shock this week to a graduate class in Counseling: Multicultural and Diversity Issues in Counseling.

The Office of International Education is closely monitoring the developing situation regarding swine influenza (swine flu). We are providing links for information purposes when planning or deciding to continue travel and/or study plans.

International Unity Day will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2009, from noon to 4:00 p.m. in the HUB Ohio Room.
