The IUP Physics Club will host the 2013 Physics Olympics. High school physics students from around the state compete in events requiring the application of their physics knowledge.

Karolina Janicka, who graduated with an M.S. degree in 2005 under the supervision of Dr. Devki Talwar, published an article titled “Quantum Nature of Two-Dimensional Electron Gas at LaAl03/SrTiO3 Interfaces” in Physical Review Letters, Vol. 102, 106803 (2009).
