The general contractor for Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Kovalchick Complex today said that the facility is on schedule for June 6, 2011, completion, 850 days after construction began February 16.

Dr. Tony Atwater, president of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, announced today that the university has received a $1-million gift from Edward K. Bratton, of Indiana, for the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.

Attendance at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex—scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on November 13 at the site along Wayne Avenue—is free and open to the community. Parking will be available in the lot of the former BiLo plaza.
