The Liberal Studies Office is sponsoring the annual Writing Workshop on May 20, 21, and 22. The workshop will be held in the Monongahela Room in the HUB on Monday and Tuesday and in Stabley 101 on Wednesday morning.

An ad hoc committee will meet during the Spring 2011 semester to discuss the role of the Liberal Studies Committee. The discussions will be based on the Report of the General Education Task Force from 1987 that established the Liberal Studies Committee.

The Office of Liberal Studies will offer two workshops for faculty members interested in developing Special Topics courses for the First Year Seminar: July 13, 2010, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. and July 14 from 10:00 a.m.–noon.
