Chemistry Seminar Series, December 5

This Friday, there will be two Chemistry Department seminars back-to-back: “Modeling the H Bond Strength by Donor of Ph-CH3, PhNH2, PhCH2F, PhF, PhH” and “Morphine-induced trafficking of a mu-opioid receptor interacting protein in rat locus coeruleus neurons.”

Chemistry Seminar Series: “Targeting and Activating Dyes with Proteins”

This week’s speaker will be Professor Marcel Bruchez, director of the Molecular Biosensor and Imaging Center at Carnegie Mellon University. The title of his talk on October 24 is “Targeting and Activating Dyes with Proteins: From Cells to Model Organisms.”
