“The Women of Ciudad Juarez” Theater Production Coming to Campus

“The Women of Ciudad Juarez” uses the theater as a space to examine, reflect on, and speak about the femicides taking place in Juarez, Mexico. This free performance will take place on Friday, April 24, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. on the Waller Theater Main Stage.

Outdoor Screening of “American Outrage”

In honor of Earth Day, the Native American Awareness Council will host a free outdoor showing of the film “American Outrage” on Wednesday, April 22. The film presentation is open to all members of the campus and Indiana community.

Final Dates for Open Forum Training Sessions

Two upcoming dates in April will serve as final opportunities for employees and students to attend an open forum training session on Title IX and the Protection of Minors policies. Anyone who has not yet met their training requirement for the 2014–15 academic year should attend.

American Indian Scholars to Visit IUP

Jenny Tone Pah Hote and Keith Richotte, both of the University of North Carolina American Studies Department, will be on campus Monday, February 16, and Tuesday, February 17, 2015, to visit Anthropology classes and present evening lectures.

Open Forum Training Sessions: Title IX and Protection of Minors

Changes in federal and state law have created reporting responsibilities for campus employees, faculty, and professional staff in regards to Title IX and Protection of Minors. In support of compliance with these regulations and to raise awareness, IUP will host open training sessions for employees and students.
