There is still time to register your organization for the Safety Sciences Career Fair. This year the fair is being held on Thursday, October 1, 2009, at the Rustic Lodge at 2199 Oakland Avenue. The interviews scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2009, will be held in the Hadley Union Building.

The IUP student chapter of American Society of Safety Engineers and the Western Pennsylvania chapter of ASSE will hold a Women in Safety Conference in March 2010.

We are always interested in having new companies/recruiters attend the Safety Sciences Career Fair. If your company has not been represented in the past and is interested in attending, it's not too late.

Attention all Safety Sciences Alumni! Please plan to attend the alumni reception at the ASSE PDC in San Antonio, Texas, on June 29, 2009, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio, in Presidio B.

The Safety Sciences Department will hold their commencement festivities on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. in the Ohio Room of the Hadley Union Building.

This year’s Safety Sciences Career Fair will take place on Thursday, October 1, 2009. Interviews will be held on Friday, October 2, in the Ohio, Monongahela, Susquehanna, and Allegheny rooms of the Hadley Union Building.

All Safety Sciences alumni are invited to join us for the annual Safety Sciences Alumni Reception at the ASSE PDC at the Grand Hyatt in San Antonio.
