Hanely Presents at RESS Petri Plate Pizza Session

The second seminar of the Research Experience for Summer Scholars (RESS) program took place Friday, June 24, in 240 Weyandt Hall, with a presentation from Derek Hanely, an RESS scholar and IUP applied mathematics major. Derek is working under the direction of Rachelle Bouchat during the 10-week summer program.

Winners Announced for Women in Mathematics, Science, and Technology Program

On April 4, 2016, the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics held its 11th annual Women in Mathematics, Science, and Technology Program, showcasing more than 30 research projects by women students and faculty.

Science Skills Series workshop on GCMS/NMR

This week, IUP students will again have the opportunity to participate in a free science skills workshop. The focus of this week's workshop is the use of the chemical analytical techniques of gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GCMS), and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR).

Herman Sintim, of Purdue University, will present “Bacterial Resistance and Why We Should Care: How cyclic dinucleotide bacteria could solve the antibiotic resistance problem,” on March 17, at 4:30 p.m.,  in the Eberly auditorium.
