Economics Students Present Research at Undergraduate Scholars Forum

Twelve economics students gave oral presentations at the Undergraduate Scholars Forum on April 5, 2016. Economics majors Patrick Edwards and Hannah Mercer received the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean's Award for their presentation, "An Analysis of Gender Inequality in Professional Tennis."

Economics Club Joins Other Student Groups to Raise Funds for Relay for Life

The Economics Club, Student Finance Association, Stephenson Hall Relay for Life Team, and Phi Gamma Nu combined forces to raise close to $1,500 for the American Cancer Society’s 2015 Relay for Life.

Twenty Economics Students Present Original Research and Represent the Department at the 2015 Undergraduate Scholars Forum

Covering topics ranging from political economy and economic well-being to development and finance to applied microeconomics, the students presented original research in five different sessions under the guidance of six faculty members.
