Radio host, actor, Emmy-nominated writer, director, and producer Seth Rudetsky will share his stories and give a perspective on the role of theater and Broadway in America on May 6, 2013, in Gorell Recital Hall.

The Lively Arts is offering a wide variety of holiday connections this season from Christmas music, to holiday gifts, to family entertainment.

Afternoon workshops and an evening program of music and dance on Saturday, October 27, 2012, will celebrate Indonesian traditional and contemporary cultures, highlighting performances and workshops by guest Indonesian musicians, dancers, and performing ensembles. The general public is invited, and admission is free.

The Lively Arts at IUP has released additional videos to add to the original video unveiled in early September 2012. The newer videos explain different activities of the Lively Arts in more detail.

Under the umbrella of the Lively Arts, departments within the College of Fine Arts offer the campus and community a variety of performing and visual arts, including Theater-by-the-Grove, Music Theater, Dance Theater, Sound Choices, and the University Museum.
