IUP Announces New Approach to Developmental Math Experience

Beginning in fall 2014, the departments of Developmental Studies and Mathematics will implement adaptive computer software called Assessment and Learning in Knowledge Spaces in all developmental math courses.

Veena Mendiratta of Alcatel-Lucent will give three lectures on September 30, 2013, about learning from software failure data, predicting subscriber churn, and a career talk for undergraduate students.

MATLAB Workshops, Offered by Mathematics Department

Ed Donley of the Mathematics Department will be offering two workshops on MATLAB, a high-level programming language and interactive environment for numerical computation, visualization, and programming.
