Richburg Publishes on Speed of Processing in Speakers Who Stutter

Cynthia McCormick Richburg, an audiologist on the faculty in Special Education and Clinical Services, has recently published a journal article on the speed of stimulus categorization in speakers who stutter.

Becky Knickelbein and Cynthia Richburg, Special Education and Clinical Services, have collaborated to study the extent to which special educators have access to the services of an educational audiologist and how they benefitted from such services.

Speech-Language Pathology Program Earns Full Reaccreditation

The Speech-Language Pathology program has earned full reaccreditation from the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, a semi-autonomous arm of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Speech and Hearing Screenings for Education Majors

The IUP Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic provides three walk-in clinics during the Fall 2012 semester for students who need to have a speech, language, and hearing screening for admission to the teacher certification program.
