“Soldier’s Heart” Next for Theater-by-the-Grove

Theater-by-Grove at IUP will present the drama “Soldier’s Heart,” written by Pittsburgh playwright Tammy Ryan, on February 19–21 and 25–28, with a post-performance talk with the playwright after the matinee on Sunday, February 22.

Graham Dance Educational Outreach Announced

The world-renowned Martha Graham Dance Company will visit Indiana for a performance at Fisher Auditorium on March 2, 2015. The dance company will also hold a masterclass on the famed “Graham Technique” on Sunday, March 1, and a mini Tech Workshop on Monday, March 2.

Alumna Trisha Stahl Lands Recurring Role on “Glee”

Trisha Rae Stahl (Theater ’98) made her debut in the season opener of Fox Networks’ Glee on Thursday, September 13, 2012. She will appear in a recurring role.

Schwartz Discusses “The Productions of Robert Griffith” at Theatre in Higher Education Conference

At the 2012 Association for Theatre in Higher Education conference in Washington, D.C., Michael Schwartz, Department of Theater and Dance, participated in a roundtable discussion panel entitled “The Most Fabulous Producers: A Re-evaluation of Producers’ Innovations and Achievements in American Theatre.”

Theater Honors Project to feature “Bent,” starting September 14

The Acorn Honors project at Indiana University of Pennsylvania will present “Bent,” a play about members of the LGBT community living through the Holocaust.
