The film Tapestries of Hope will be shown on Wednesday, September 28, at 7:30 p.m. in Room 247 of Johnson Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

New Location for Lecture by CNN Hero Betty Makoni

Betty Makoni was one of CNN’s 2009 Top Ten Heroes for her work in defending and empowering girl rape victims in her native Zimbabwe.There is a new location for the first of Ms. Makone's lectures at IUP.

CNN Hero and Gender Activist Betty Makoni to Speak at IUP on September 23

Betty Makoni, one of CNN’s 2009 Top Ten Heroes, will be at IUP on Friday, September 23, 2011. There are two opportunities to meet her, hear her speak, and to donate to the Girl Child Network Worldwide.
