The IUP Department of Geoscience invites you to a public lecture by Rudy Slingerland, NSF Margins distinguished lecturer, on Thursday, October 8, 2009.

Professor Jon Lewis, Department of Geoscience, is participating in a multinational planning workshop to define the scientific research goals of a new ocean drilling program that is expected to replace the current Integrated Ocean Drilling Program.

The Geoscience Department presents a seminar by Dr. Ben Ford of the IUP Anthropology Department. He will be speaking on “Marine Remote Sensing and the Lake Ontario Maritime Cultural Landscape” on September 25, 2009.
