U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Projects Strong Job Growth for Anthropologists and Archaeologists

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics recently listed anthropology and archaeology as having faster than average job growth in the coming years and as being fields where employees make better than average salaries. It is a good time to be an anthropologist!

Poole Publishes on Agrarian History in Eritrea

Neusius Receives National Science Foundation Funding to Develop Integrated Faunal Databases

Professor Sarah Neusius, along with her co-PI, Bonnie Styles, director of the Illinois State Museum, has been awarded a research award in the amount of $184,080 by the Archaeology Program of the National Science Foundation.

Poole Completes NSF-Funded Course on Cultural Domain Analysis

Amanda Poole, Anthropology, was accepted into a five-day course funded by the National Science Foundation held in July 2014 at the Duke University Marine Laboratories in Beaufort, North Carolina.
