Students can get help with writing assignments at the Writing Center satellite beginning September 4. The satellite will provide walk-up writing tutoring on the first floor of Stapleton Library.

To encourage students to think about writing outside of the classroom, the Writing Center will host a monthly Lunch and Learn series covering writing-related topics such as literacy, genealogy, and publishing fiction. All IUP students, faculty, and staff are invited.

The Writing Center provides Web-based resources on a variety of topics. This information covers the many steps of academic writing and can be used in the classroom or as additional information for students.

IUP students from every major can schedule live online tutoring sessions with Writing Center peer tutors beginning in Fall 2012. Faculty can request a brief in-class demonstration of an online session for their students.
