The Mathematics Department and the S-COAM program are cosponsoring a workshop entitled “Introduction to R” on September 5, 2012. R is a free software package commonly used for data analysis and research.

The Mathematics Department congratulates John Lattanzio, Mary Lou Metz, Mavis Pararai, and Edel Reilly on their recent promotions. Metz, Pararai, and Reilly were also awarded tenure.
