U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Projects Strong Job Growth for Anthropologists and Archaeologists

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics recently listed anthropology and archaeology as having faster than average job growth in the coming years and as being fields where employees make better than average salaries. It is a good time to be an anthropologist!

Archaeology Students Participate in Cooperative Project in Allegheny National Forest

Starting on July 8, 2013, four IUP students and two students from Clarion began a systematic survey of the 46-mile-long transect of of mountain bicycling trails through the Allegheny National Forest.

Anthropology Student Conklin Participates in NSF-Funded Research Experience for Undergraduates

Samantha Conklin, a junior Anthropology major, will spend five weeks exploring the Angel Mounds State Historic Site in southwestern Indiana as part of the eight-week REU program.
