R. Scott Moore of the History Department recently presented a paper, “The Pyla-Koutsopetria Archaeological Project: Season 7,” at the twenty-seventh annual CAARI Archaeological Workshop (2009), in collaboration with the Department of Antiquities Cyprus in Nicosia, Cyprus.

The History Department’s annual fall convocation will be held Sunday, September 13, 2009. This event includes a short program, workshops, a picnic, and a kickball game between the faculty and History majors.
