The general contractor for Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Kovalchick Complex today said that the facility is on schedule for June 6, 2011, completion, 850 days after construction began February 16.

Dr. Tony Atwater, president of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, announced today that the university has received a $1-million gift from Edward K. Bratton, of Indiana, for the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.

Developer Chosen for Hotel

Bolstering their public-private partnership and commitment to the development of the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex, the Foundation for IUP and IUP recently announced the selection of the Horizon Team to develop the hotel property connected to the KCAC.
