The annual History Department Fall Convocation will be held on September 7, 2008, in Gorell Hall in Sutton Hall. The convocation will start at 2 00 with workshops, a picnic, and a faculty versus students kickball game to follow.

The Pyla Koutsopetria Archaeological Project, under the direction of Professor R. Scott Moore and others, recently completed its sixth season of fieldwork at the site of Pyla-Koutsopetria on Cyprus.
