Beijing Conservatory Conductor to Lead IUP Bands

The IUP Wind Ensemble and Symphony Band will present their final performance of the academic year on May 4, 2013, featuring guest conductor Dai Zhonghui of the Beijing Conservatory.

The Lively Arts at IUP will present Sirius/XM Satellite Radio personality Seth Rudetsky as part of its Ideas and Issues series. Talking about his favorite subject—Broadway—Rudetseky will speak on Monday, May 6, 2013.

Blues Artist Sonny Landreth to Perform Special Summer Concert

The Lively Arts at IUP will present Sonny Landreth as a special community summer event. Performing an evocative and vibrant mixture of southwest Louisiana blues, the concert will be presented on May 31, 2013.

Trumpet Professor Eisensmith and Student Attend International Trumpet Guild Conference

Dr. Kevin Eisensmith, professor of Trumpet at IUP, recently returned from a one-week conference of the International Trumpet Guild in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Eisensmith currently serves as president of the guild.
