U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Projects Strong Job Growth for Anthropologists and Archaeologists

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics recently listed anthropology and archaeology as having faster than average job growth in the coming years and as being fields where employees make better than average salaries. It is a good time to be an anthropologist!

Archaeology Graduate Student Smeltzer Presents Paper on Virtual Archaeology

Marion Smeltzer, a graduate student in the M.A. in Applied Archaeology Program, presented a paper on “Public Archaeology in Second Life” at the 2011 meeting of the Theoretical Archaeology Group USA in Berkeley, California.
