The IUP Journalism Department’s student-run public relations agency, Lasting Impressions, received big news at the end of last semester. It was officially recognized as a chapter of the national organization Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).

Journalism Department graduate Kristen Stormer '09, of Hollidaysburg, was killed on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, in Ocean City, Md., when she was hit by a soft drink delivery truck while crossing the Coastal Highway at 33rd Street on her bicycle.
