IUP will present its weekly picnics in the Oak Grove on Wednesdays from June 1 through August 3. For the first picnic, contemporary music will be played and special guest will be St. Thomas More University Parish.

IUP and the Foundation for IUP formally dedicated the Heritage Garden on May 17, 2011, in front of the Northern Suites. It replaces the Touch and Smell Garden, which was removed during construction of the residence hall.
