Siemens Endows Fund for Undergraduate Research in Sciences

IUP has received a $30,000 donation from Siemens Industry, Inc., to establish a fund for undergraduate research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Edwards Selected for National Economics Fellowship

Raymond G. Edwards, Jr., of Wernersville, a student in the Robert E. Cook Honors College, has been selected by the American Institute of Economic Research for a summer fellowship in economics.

Music Senior Recovering from Car Accident Attends Graduation Ceremony

Although senior Music Education major Tim Sugrue was recovering from an auto accident, he was still able to participate in the Music Department’s graduation ceremony via the Internet.

Fall Applications Closed for IUP Main Campus; Regional Campuses and Transfer Process Still Open

IUP is no longer accepting applications for general admission for freshman students for the Indiana campus. Applications are still open for most transfer students and for students who are interested in study at IUP’s regional campuses.

Rafoth Named 2010–2011 University Professor

Dr. Bennett Rafoth, Department of English, has been selected as IUP’s 2010–2011 University Professor, an award presented on the basis of an outstanding record of teaching, research, and scholarly activity and service.
