Golf Team Achieves Highest Finish in School History in NCAA Championship

The golf team finished tenth—its highest finish in school history—in the NCAA Division II championship, which concluded May 21, 2010, in Noblesville, Ind. Members of the baseball and softball teams have also earned recent honors.

Softball Forces Final Game in NCAA Regional but Loses to Bloomsburg

Erin Holloway tossed a two-hit shutout to lead IUP to a 4-0 victory over Bloomsburg, creating the need for a final game to decide the NCAA Atlantic Region subregional, but the host Huskies rebounded to eliminate the Crimson Hawks with a 6-0 win in a second game.

Outman Caps Three-Win Weekend with Selection as Most Outstanding Athlete at PSAC Meet

Maddy Outman won the 100 meter hurdles and 400 meter dash to finish with three wins over the weekend to earn the Most Outstanding Track Athlete and Most Outstanding Overall Athlete of the Meet at the PSAC championships which wrapped up Saturday at West Chester.

Softball Earns First NCAA Tournament Berth in Five Years

The IUP softball team has received a bid to the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region tournament and the fifth-seeded Crimson Hawks will take on No. 4 seed West Virginia Wesleyan in an opening round game Friday at Bloomsburg. Game time is set for 1:30.
