Last week in sports included national championships for IUP athletes in golf and track and field. In addition, six track and field athletes earned All-America honors.

IUP sophomore Nafee Harris claimed the national title in the long jump, and two other IUP athletes, as well as a relay team, advanced to the finals in their events on the first day of the NCAA outdoor track and field championships at San Angelo, Texas, May 21.

IUP sports teams recorded successful spring seasons, including the golf team, which is headed to nationals in Blaine, Wash.
