The Pyla-Koutsopetria Archaeological Project (PKAP) began its annual fieldwork on May 25, 2009, outside of Larnaka, Cyprus. The project is a collaboration between Dr. Scott Moore of the Department of History at IUP and scholars from the University of North Dakota and Messiah College (Pa).

This summer, a number of IUP students and faculty members are visiting the island of Cyprus, located in the eastern Mediterranean.
