Biology professor Jeff Larkin took four students to participate in a volunteer project to plant 15,000 trees and shrubs at the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pa., on April 21.

Jeff Larkin, Department of Biology, received external funding award in the amount of $133,800 from the American Bird Conservancy/National Fish and Wildlife Foundation for his project, "Developing quality Early Successional Habitat for Golden-winged Warbler and American Woodcock".
