Beverly Chiarulli, director of Archaeological Services, received a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for her project, “PennDOT Task 23: PennDot Highway Archaeological Survey Team Project, Spring 2012.”

James Sadler, Highway Safety Center, received an additional grant from GenOn Energy, Inc., for his project, “Emergency Training Services.”

Jeff Larkin, Department of Biology, received a grant from the American Bird Conservancy/National Fish and Wildlife Foundation for his project, “Developing Quality Early Successional Habitat for Golden-winged Warbler and American Woodcock.”

Jeff Larkin and Marja Bakermans, Department of Biology, received a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture-Natural Resources Conservation Service for their project, “Monitoring and Evaluating Golden-Winged Warbler Response to Breeding Habitat Management Associated With the NRCS Golden-Winged Warbler Initiative.”

Jeffery Larkin, Department of Biology, was invited to be a speaker at Pennsylvania State University’s Goddard Forum, Oil and Gas Development Impacts on Forested Ecosystems: Research and Management Challenges.
