NASA Scientist Imhoff to Give Sigma Xi Public Lecture

Dr. Marc Imhoff, project scientist from NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, will speak Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. in Eberly Auditorium. This presentation is free and open to the public.

Geoscience Students Present at Pittsburgh Geological Society

Four Geoscience undergraduate students are presenting their research at the Pittsburgh Geological Society (PGS) annual student night. These students have been working for the past year (or longer) with Geoscience faculty.

Free Planetarium Show: “400 Years of the Telescope”

Cercone Appointed Provost Fellow

Dr. Karen Rose Cercone, Department of Geoscience, was appointed a Provost Fellow for the 2010–2011 academic year to work on the Middle States Commission reaccreditation process for IUP.
