Dawn Smith-Sherwood from the Department of Spanish presented her work “Clara Janés' Emerging Digital Poetics” at the Kentucky Foreign Language Conference, held April 16-18, 2009.

Dr. Lydia Rodríguez was invited to speak about the importance of higher education by the city of La Piedad, Michoacán, México. The title of her March 30, 2009, presentation was “La educación sin límites” (Education Without Limits).
